ABOUT JOANNE
Joanne Palmisano is interior designer and stylist. She has been credited internationally as a salvage design expert, and has won numerous awards for her interior design work. For the past 20 years she has created an exceptional design portfolio for small boutique hospitality spaces, including family-owned resort renovations, mom and pop inns restorations, restaurant and pub designs, motel makeovers for small-business owners and consulting with larger firms on larger hospitality projects, including large hotel concept design for guest rooms, lobby and restaurants. Joanne’s bespoke style includes her passion for eclectic one-of-a-kind bespoke materials and her ability to create unique spaces has made Joanne a stand-out interior designer in the industry. She has been called a Salvage Star by the Chicago Tribune, a top designer by Country Living Magazine, and a top New England designer by Yankee Magazine.
Her work is regularly featured in national press including, New York Times, Dwell, Country Living, Country Home, Better Homes and Garden, Apartment Therapy, Domino, Washington Post, Boston Globe, and many more publications. Her book series, has received international acclaim and she has toured the country giving numerous presentations on how to add character and style to design through salvaged, vintage and recycled materials. Joanne Palmisano is an award-winning interior designer who specializes in unique residential design, boutique hospitality spaces, vacation homes and short-term rentals properties. She works directly with hospitality brands, owners, developers as well as collaborates with architectural and interior design firms to create spaces that inspire. Joanne incorporates local products, artisans, and eco-friendly materials whenever possible.
Joanne has also worked with DIY NETWORK and HGTV on over 250 DIY Projects, including an 8-part video series, and design consultant for HGTV show pilot.
